{"id":311550,"description_type":{"id":4,"name":"Source Catalog Description"},"description":"<p><strong>Degree Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Students who change degree programs and select this major must adopt the most current catalog.</li> <li>Students are required to earn a &quot;C&quot; (2.0) or better in each major course.</li> <li>A maximum of 6 hours of internship credit can be used in this major.</li> <li>Students must have a minimum of a &quot;B&quot; (3.0) GPA in the major to enroll in internship credits.</li> <li>Students must declare a minor outside the Film Department. When no official minor is offered, students may complete an 18-credit-hour area of concentration approved by the Program Coordinator.</li> <li>Students must consult with their Academic Success Coach (ASC) each semester.</li> <li>Department Residency Requirement consists of at least 36 semester hours of regularly scheduled courses taken from the Nicholson School of Communication and Media.</li> <li>Courses designated in the General Education Program (GEP) and Common Program Prerequisites (CPPs) are usually completed in the first 60 hours.</li> <li>Students must regularly check their UCF email for important information and announcements.</li> </ul>","primary":false,"program":2011}
