    "description": "<p>Students in UCF's Spanish BA program become fluent in Spanish by the time they finish their major, and also have a knowledge of and competence in literature, linguistics and the culture of the Spanish-speaking world, as well as translation and interpretation skills. The skills attained in the degree program prepare students for careers in international business, law and legal studies, news and television, public service, education and more.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>The size of our Spanish classes permits personal attention and approachability. The Spanish faculty has vast experience and preparation in teaching language, linguistics, literatures and culture. Our program welcomes students pursuing honors undergraduate theses, study abroad, research opportunities and service-learning experiences.</p>\r\n<p>We offer courses at all levels of language proficiency and in several modalities of teaching and learning.</p>",
