"description": "<p>The Certificate in Community Innovation, Communication, and Engagement is primarily aimed at students who wish to specialize in public service careers involved with policymaking and implementation. This can be in topics including but not limited to: public health and wellness, community engagement and innovation, legal studies, and public service. Cutting across all these is an ability to communicate clearly with varied audiences, necessitating a partnership between CCIE and Nicholson.</p><p>The certificate program requires 12 hours of credit, all required core courses selected by unit representatives during planning meetings. All proposed courses are housed in and taught by each program. Students can take the classes in any order.
