"description": "<p>The Bachelor of Science in Event Management program provides students with the theoretical and practical tools to become leaders in the fast-paced and rewarding event industry. Graduates emerge with a broad skill set to successfully manage small to large-scale events from inception to implementation, including fairs, festivals, entertainment and sporting events, meetings and trade shows.</p><p>Students learn all aspects of event management, including risk management, marketing, finance and logistics. In addition, the curriculum incorporates the newest technologies and emerging trends in the industry. Our students are also required to complete three paid internships in the event industry where they can apply coursework to real-world experiences.
