"description": "<p>The nonprofit sector is the fastest growing area of the economy, and the completely online Master of Nonprofit Management MNM program prepares students for careers in this dynamic field. The degree program provides opportunities for students to prepare for employment or to advance their careers as administrators in nonprofit organizations. The program is intended to produce graduates equipped with the management skills and analytical skills needed for successful careers in the nonprofit sector.</p> <p>A Dual Degree master’s track is available in Nonprofit Management and Public Administration as a separate program. Please scroll to the bottom of this page for further details on these Tracks.</p> <p>The Master of Nonprofit Management (MNM) program is offered completely online., Students in this program are expected to have the ability to complete the coursework online. The program requires 30 credit hours of core courses, 3 credit hours of restricted electives and 3 of general electives.</p> <p>The MNM program incorporates service learning in some of its courses. Service learning is hands-on learning that provides real-life experience in executing tangible projects such as strategic plans, grant proposals, and volunteer management case studies. It enhances the student's understanding of the course core concepts, helps develop leadership skills and provides networking opportunities with a community partner.</p> <p>Some of the courses also involve group work intended to develop leadership abilities while providing an opportunity for the student to show his or her ability to be a team player. Group projects promote important intellectual and social skills and help to prepare students for professional work where teamwork and collaboration are necessary.</p> <p><strong>Total Credit Hours Required: 36 Credit Hours Minimum beyond the Bachelor's Degree</strong></p><p><strong>Please note:</strong> <a href=\"https://www.ucf.edu/online/degree/nonprofit-management-m-n-m/\" target=\"_blank\">Master of Nonprofit Management (MNM) may be completed fully online</a>, although not all elective options or program prerequisites may be offered online. Newly admitted students choosing to complete this program exclusively via UCF online classes may enroll with a reduction in campus-based fees.</p> <p>This program is not available to International students requiring most classes in person.
