"description": "<h1>Program Prerequisites</h1><p>This is a rigorous postgraduate program in mathematics, and as such, all required courses in the program are proofbased, emphasizing logical reasoning and the formulation and validation of mathematical arguments. The program is designed to build on a strong mathematical foundation, ensuring students are well-prepared for advanced study and professional applications of mathematics.</p> <p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> </p> <p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be eligible for admission to the graduate certificate program, students must demonstrate proficiency in foundational undergraduate mathematics. This includes mastery of the calculus sequence, differential equations, and linear algebra. In addition, applicants are expected to have familiarity with the principles and techniques of mathematical proof.
