Program Mission Statement</strong>: To provide subject matter experts with opportunities to develop course content guided by pedagogical and technological approaches based on FL state and national CTE teaching standards. </p><p>Successful completion of this program affords career opportunities as <a href=\"https://www.fldoe.org/teaching/certification/certificate-subjects/\">CTE degreed teachers</a> (e.g. Agriculture, Business Ed, Engineering & Technology Ed, Family & Consumer Science, and Marketing), non-degreed CTE teachers (trade and industry), CTE program coordinators, CTE curriculum specialists, workforce/corporate development trainers, and career development counselors and career advising specialists, etc.</p><p><em><b>Degree Requirements</b></em></p><p>• Achieve a minimum overall 2.0 GPA within the major. <br/>• Achieve a minimum 2.0 GPA in education core coursework. <br/>• Achieve a minimum 2.0 GPA in technical specialization coursework.<br/>• Achieve a minimum overall 2.0 GPA</p><p>The program is offered as an online track and a traditional modality track. It may be completed fully online, although not all elective course options or program prerequisites may be offered online. This supervised internship may be completed in an educational or industrial setting, or with the UCF program faculty assisting in teaching web-based courses. The internship course has a S/U grading policy.
