Applicants who have graduated from an accredited university or college teacher certification program in another state or country, in the appropriate subject and/or grade range, may also be admitted to the MEd program at the discretion of the program director.</p> <p><strong>OR</strong></p> <p>A Temporary Teaching Certificate, and at least 1 year of successful teaching experience. Please note: Graduate students are responsible for a passing score on the Professional Education Test (PET) to satisfy their temporary teaching certificate for the FLDOE, but that is not a graduation requirement for the MEd in Elementary Education. Further, the four Subject Area Exams will be satisfied and recognized by the FLDOE upon successfully conferring your MEd in Elementary Education degree program.
