"description": "<p>The Master of Social Work (MSW) Full-Time Advanced Standing Campus-Based Track is a lock-step cohort program offered on the UCF Main Campus. It allows students with baccalaureate degrees in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited school/program who demonstrate academic potential and</p><p>professional maturity to complete the MSW in three semesters of graduate study (summer, fall, and spring).</p><p>To be considered for advanced standing admission, applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program within six years of initial enrollment in the master's program with a minimum GPA of 3.3 in their last 60 credit hours of coursework and no more than one C grade in their BSW coursework.</p><p>The 32-hour MSW program is composed of 18 credit hours of required core and advanced clinical specialization courses. In addition, students complete 6 credit hours of electives and 8 credit hours of field experience. Independent learning is demonstrated throughout the curriculum through the process of inquiry and dialogue. Projects such as research studies, clinical assessments and treatment plans, papers and internships also contribute to the self-development of the students.</p><p>The MSW program is designed to prepare students to become successful practitioners in the field of clinical social work. The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics is upheld and reinforced throughout the academic curriculum. Violations of the NASW Code of Ethics may result in academic sanctions or dismissal from the program.</p><p><strong>Total Credit Hours Required: 32 Credit Hours Minimum beyond the Bachelor's Degree</strong></p>",
