This specialized master’s degree helps you deepen your knowledge in elementary and middle-grades mathematics and science education, enabling you to improve student problem-solving skills by incorporating research-based, technology-enhanced strategies including AI into your classroom. You’ll gain practical tools to make an immediate impact while preparing for career growth in STEM teaching and teacher leadership.</span></p>\r\n<p><span>When you join the K–8 Mathematics and Science Education program, you become part of a supportive and collaborative cohort. You also receive continuous mentoring, helping you grow as a reflective educator and future STEM leader. Many graduates transition into roles like STEM coordinator, math or science coach, or an instructional leader. Teachers with three or more years of K–8 mathematics or science experience in public Florida schools may also qualify for the </span><a href=\"https://ccie.ucf.edu/lockheed-martin-academy/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>Lockheed Martin/UCF Academy for Mathematics and Science</span></a><span>, which may provide tuition support, making this advanced degree more affordable.
