"description": "<p><span>The Master of Education in Secondary Education at UCF is designed for certified, experienced teachers seeking to advance their instructional practice and content expertise at the secondary level (grades 6–12).</span></p>\r\n<p><span>In this program, you’ll engage in action research within your own classroom, applying evidence</span>‑<span>based strategies to real instructional challenges. Coursework blends secondary education foundations with content</span>‑<span>specific learning in your chosen track, all while emphasizing disciplinary literacy plus teaching and learning with emerging technologies. You’ll learn to design instruction that supports subject</span>‑<span>specific reading, writing and communication skills as you leverage digital tools and instructional technologies to enhance student engagement, assessment and learning outcomes.</span></p>\r\n<p><span>This degree is intended for professional growth and does not prepare students for initial teaching, administrative or supervisory certification. For individuals with a bachelor's degree seeking initial teacher certification, consider our <a href=\"https://www.ucf.edu/degree/teacher-education-mat/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Master of Arts in Teaching</a>.</span></p>\r\n<p><span>At UCF, you’ll gain advanced instructional skills, meaningful research experience, and the confidence to make a greater impact in your secondary classroom and professional learning community.
