    "description": "<p>The post-master's Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Graduate Certificate prepares nurses who already have received a master's degree in nursing for positions as Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners.</p><p><strong>Program Objectives</strong></p><ul> <li>Integrate advanced clinical judgment and evidence-based practice to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centered care specific to the role and population.</li> <li> Design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive plans of care specific to the role and population. </li> <li> Model professionalism, role advocacy, and ethical practice to collaborate within intraprofessional and interprofessional teams specific to the role and population. </li> <li> Demonstrate leadership in practice and advocating health policy specific to the role and population. </li> <li> Utilize technology to inform practice specific to the role and population. </li> </ul><p>The program is 19 credit hours and includes up to 660 hours of clinical practice.</p><p><strong>Total Credit Hours Required: 19 Credit Hours Minimum beyond the Master's Degree</strong></p><p>This program prepares students for state-regulated professional licensure or certification.
