    "description": "<p>Children, adolescents, and adults with speech and language disorders  are served via a team approach that features a range of  professionals. These related disciplines include speech-language  pathology, audiology, psychology, medicine, nursing, social work,  physical therapy, occupational therapy, counseling, and general and  special education. This certificate is for students in such related  disciplines who wish to pursue a special emphasis in foundations of  speech and language development.  This certificate is designed for  undergraduate students who are not majoring or minoring in  Communication Sciences and Disorders.  Courses in this certificate will  cover the basic principles of articulation, phonology, expressive, and  receptive language.
