Delivered fully online, the program emphasizes foundational AI concepts, ethical and responsible use of AI in health contexts, and effective communication of AI-related insights. The certificate is open to students from nursing, medicine, public health, computer science, health informatics, and related disciplines.</p><p><strong>Program Learning Outcomes</strong></p><p>Graduates of the Artificial Intelligence in Health Graduate Certificate will be prepared to:</p><ol> <li>Explain foundational concepts in artificial intelligence and machine learning as applied to health and healthcare systems.</li> <li>Evaluate ethical, regulatory, and societal considerations related to AI use in health contexts.</li> <li>Apply AI-enabled tools and data-driven approaches to real-world challenges in healthcare practice, research, education, and administration.</li> <li>Communicate AI-related insights effectively to diverse professional and stakeholder audiences.</li> </ol><p><strong>Curriculum Structure</strong></p><p>The Artificial Intelligence in Health Graduate Certificate requires completion of 9 graduate credit hours, including two required core courses and one elective, allowing students to tailor the program to their professional interests or disciplinary background.</p><p><strong>Total Credit Hours Required: 9 Credit Hours Minimum beyond the Bachelor's Degree</strong></p><p><strong>Please note:</strong> <a href=\"https://www.ucf.edu/online/degree/\" target=\"_blank\">Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Health Graduate Certificate may be completed fully online</a>, although not all elective options or program prerequisites may be offered online. Newly admitted students choosing to complete this program exclusively via UCF online classes may enroll with a reduction in campus-based fees.</p>",
