"description": "<p>The Crime, Law, and Deviance track focuses on sociological approaches to understanding deviant, delinquent, and criminal behavior, the interplay between law and society, and issues related to victimology. The track is designed to foster academic excellence and enhance students’ career readiness. Graduates are equipped for careers that demand critical thinking, analytical abilities, specialized knowledge, report writing, and technical skills. It offers a sociological framework for analyzing crime and deviance and prepares students for professional roles or graduate studies in related disciplines. As part of the program, all students will complete an original research project.</p><p>Sociology: <b>Crime, Law, and Deviance </b>Track (B.S.)</p> <br /> <p><a href=\"https://www.ucf.edu/online/degree/sociology-b-a/\" target=\"_blank\">Sociology: </a><b>Crime, Law, and Deviance track </b><a href=\"https://www.ucf.edu/online/degree/sociology-b-a/\" target=\"_blank\">(B.S.) may be completed fully online</a>, although not all elective options or program prerequisites may be offered online. Newly admitted students choosing to complete this program exclusively via UCF online classes may enroll with a reduction in campus-based fees.</p>",
